Updated Instructions and Suggestions

Attached please find the updated modeling instructions and some suggestions. You can also find the same from our website: http://isec.nacse.org/workshop/2011_orst/ .
If any of you have already done the baseline simulation, we would like to have your results at the mid-point interface (the location often called Beaver: X = 402755, Y = 282966 or 123°10'45.6"W 46°10'55.6"N). With the flow condition at Beaver, we might wish to attempt to compute the upstream flow conditions analytically using hand computations.
I recognize that tsunami simulations take time and require your effort. Considering the March 11 2011 East Japan Tsunami reached about 50 km upstream along the Kitakami River, this is indeed an important problem for the Pacific Northwest.
I will send you a tentative workshop agenda soon. Your contribution is greatly appreciated.

time units in the boundary conditions at the river mouth are said here to be hours:

Do I assume correctly that they are actually days?
