Impose two open boudary conditions

Postby henri8388 on Wed Oct 12, 2016 5:26 am

Hi everyone,
Has any one tried to impose two open boundary conditions in SPH-SWE, one is for uptream inlet boundary condition and the other one is for downstream outlet boundary condition, which has been shown in Vacanno's PhD thesis? I have tried to do like it, but only found there is none of it has been built. Can anybody provide any suggestions for it? Thanks !

It would be very helpful if you would write the title of the PhD-thesis, then I could really find them. If you want an input and an outlet and the amount of leaving particles is as big as the inserted particles, you can edit the source code, so that the particles that leaves the area are reset at the input area. The rand function prevents a high particle concentration at one point. Now, the abort criteria, which becomes active when too many particles leaving the area, has to be suppressed.
